Access / Take-out
Take out access to the Ottawa River is provided by both Wilderness Tours and River Run Rafting resort. The address for the 1298 Grants Settlement Rd, Foresters Falls, Ontario, K0J 1V0.
Although competitors, the rafting/kayaking companies on the Ontario side have worked together for decades to speak and act as one voice for the betterment of the Ottawa river, the community and their industry. By working together, they have contributed to safety, conservation and now, free access for private kayak, canoe and SUP.
Continuing in the spirit of cooperation, these companies have signed an historic 10-year agreement to provide free recreational paddler access at the Put In, Lorne/Black Chute Rapids and the Take-Out. Because of their combined efforts, the Ottawa River is and will remain one of the world’s great paddling rivers.
